Well, I just got back from my math exam. I already know I didn’t do well. I felt like I studied my butt off and it didn’t help. So, if any of you are good at math 150 and are willing to help a classmate out, it’d be much appreciated. Who knows? I could buy us some food to snack on as well.
Anyways, two years ago my sister, brother, daddy and I went to Kings Island. It was my little brother’s first time and he was excited! Well, we end up riding everything and I was extremely proud of him for not being a chicken. If it would’ve been me at 11 years old, I would have probably cried.
So, we get to the Firehawk and it is everyone’s first time riding! Before we got on, someone threw up standing in line right in front of us and the ride kept shutting down due to some problems but we were determined! We looked for the camera while standing in line so we could prepare for our awesome picture. Wanna see it???
As you can see, you CAN’T see my smiling face because of my hair. I laugh when I go on rollercoasters. I don’t know why, but it’s better than screaming I suppose. My sister, Amanda, who is terrified of heights, is giving the heavy metal death horns. My brother, Billy is….well, I don’t know what he’s doing but it was funny. And last but not least, my daddy is clenching onto his dentures. We laughed so much that day. Any of you guys have funny amusement park stories?

hahah I like this post. I don't know where you're from, but I'm from Mason, which is like 5 minutes from King's Island. I worked there last summer as a life guard, BUT my boyfriend worked at firehawk last summer for the third year, and he would always complain about how horrible the ride is. It's completely safe and everything, but there are so many "protections" computerized that if one little thing happens, it shuts down. So I'm completely not surprised that it kept shutting down that day. It usually does everyday...
ReplyDeleteI am terrified of roller-coasters! I have only been on one, and will probably never do it again! On the other hand I am also in math 150, if you ever want to study let me know, my friend Sara and I have studied together a couple of times and it seems to really help.
ReplyDeleteI *LOVE* roller coasters. The thrill is so exciting and I just love being scared like crazy. It's weird though because although I love being scared on roller coasters (though really it's more fun than scary) I can't stand scary movies or haunted houses. What I love even more than coasters is that one ride where its a huge tower and you either get shot up or dropped like 500 feet -- those are the best because I get the most scared. I'm getting excited just thinking about it AHH!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Kings Island, love roller coasters, and LOVE Firehawk. It's definitally one of my new favorites. I'm still a big fan of the Face-Off and the indoor one.. I can't recall it's name. I'm assuming here that you go to King's Island often and know what I'm talking about.. if not then this is just embarrassing..
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah I love Kings Island as well just like everybody else. The last time I been there was last year in the summer with my family and we had so much fun. I got on firehawk when we went and that is one crazy ride i was screaming. I hope me and family get to go next summer next year.
ReplyDeleteI have a picture just like that! I went with three of my friends and we had a blast too! Math 150 (easy as it is) is totally kicking my butt too! The class average was a 60% on that midterm. Ooooops.
ReplyDeleteemsnyder, I know what you're talking about! I've been there quite a few times! I think my favorite is the Vortex. I don't know why. Oh and Diamondback is ridiculous!!!
